Children’s Sacramental Program
A Sacramental Program is run every year starting with an information night early in the school year.
If your child is a baptised Catholic and starting Year 3, they are eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Reconciliation and First Communion will follow the following year (Year 4).
Children not attending St John’s Primary will be led through a preparation program that runs once a week for 4 weeks before the Sacrament.
If your child is older than Year 3 and has not received any of the sacraments and is Baptised Catholic, eligibility for all three Sacraments will be on a case by case basis.
Please contact the parish office in early February if you would like your child to take part or for further information.

Confirmation: Term 2 Year 3
Practice: Thursday 25 June at 4pm. St John’s Church, Mullumbimby
Sacrament: Wednesday 1 July at 5pm. St John’s Church, Mullumbimby
First Holy Communion: Term 3 Year 4
Practice: Thursday 3 Sept at 4pm, O.L.O.L. Church, Brunswick Heads
Sacrament: Sunday 6 Sept at 8am, St John’s Church, Mullumbimby
