News: Diocesan Pastoral Council – From Bishop Greg
The Council of Priests and I have decided that it is time to re-establish the Diocesan Pastoral Council in the hope of drawing on the many talents in the Diocese. A Diocesan Pastoral Council will be in keeping with the synodal process of renewal, which began a few years ago.

Important Parish Message:
Parish Mass Change.
Dear Parishioners, my sincere thanks for your patience with regard to our Parish Liturgies these last months since Fr Michael finished up his most generous and committed ministry in St John’s Parish. We continue to pray for his health and convalescence.
I also wish to sincerely thank Deacon Anthony Gooley for his valued and timely ministry in the Parish. His last Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion will be at O.L.O.L. Brunswick Heads this Saturday 25th January.
From that time on, for the foreseeable future, the liturgy for Sunday Mass will be celebrated:
- 5:30pm each Thursday at O.L.O.L. Brunswick Heads.
- 8am each Sunday at St John’s Mullumbimby.
A precedent to celebrate Sunday Masses, other than the usual time, has already been set in several other parishes in the Lismore Diocese.
Please keep an eye on this Bulletin, as I also arrange other Pastoral Ministries including Reconciliation and Mass of Anointing.
Thank you for your continued support. Fr David Gilbey, Pastor.
