On Monday, our school community was filled with pride and bittersweet emotion as we celebrated the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony. It was a beautiful occasion to recognise the achievements, growth, and unique spirit of each of our graduating students.

We commend this wonderful group for their commitment to their stud-ies, their dedication to living out our Catholic values, and the positive contributions they have made to our school over the past seven years.

To our graduating Year 6 class: As you embark on the journey to high school, we send you off with our prayers and the deepest belief in your potential. Remember the lessons learned within these walls—to walk with Christ, to treat others with kindness and respect, and to al-ways strive for excellence. Carry the light of the Holy Spirit with you, be courageous, be curious, and know that you will always be a cher-ished part of our school family. God bless you as you take your next steps.

As the school year draws to a close, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and the entire Parish communi-ty for your unwavering commitment to our students.

We now look forward to celebrating the joy and hope of the Advent season and the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. May the true meaning of Christmas fill your homes with peace, love, and happiness.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe, relaxing holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year, refreshed and ready for a new chapter.

 A message from St Vincent de Paul

A BIG thank you to Parishioners for your contributions to the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal and your donations for the Christmas hampers.

Our St John’s School were able to help 18 single parent families with a hamper as well as provide some Christmas goodies for many others in need.

Well done to all.

Important Parish Message:

Parish Mass Change.

Dear Parishioners, my sincere thanks for your patience with regard to our Parish Liturgies these last months since Fr Michael finished up his most generous and committed ministry in St John’s Parish. We continue to pray for his health and convalescence.

I also wish to sincerely thank Deacon Anthony Gooley for his valued and timely ministry in the Parish. His last Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion will be at O.L.O.L. Brunswick Heads this Saturday 25^th January.

From that time on, for the foreseeable future, the liturgy for Sunday Mass will be celebrated:

• 5:30pm each Thursday at O.L.O.L. Brunswick Heads.
• 8am each Sunday at St John’s Mullumbimby.

A precedent to celebrate Sunday Masses, other than the usual time, has already been set in several other parishes in the Lismore Diocese.

Please keep an eye on this Bulletin, as I also arrange other Pastoral Ministries including Reconciliation and Mass of Anointing.
